Photographing my subjects I’ve been looking at the multiplicity of queerness and intimacy. Using double exposure, prisms, and emulsion manipulation, I’ve been distorting these vernacular images reclaiming a queer sense of self and intimacy. Reviving a queer history of surrealism, these dream-like portraits depict the multiple identities we carry as queer people of color.
